New tradition: Monthly recap. July was epic. So many good family memories in just the simplicity of every day. It was hard to pick 10 photos, but here they are. This is why I love what I do and have the freedom to prioritize my family 💕

I think if there was one thing I wish I had known

I think if there was one thing I wish I had known at the beginning of motherhood it would have been knowing that mindset is everything. Little shifts change so much. They change your ability to be present. They change your ability to be happy and find joy in the little things. They change how you view your current circumstances. They change everything. So mama, take hold of your thoughts, if they are negative in any way practice gratitude, it’s one of the simplest ways to start switching those negative thoughts to positive, happiness, and contentment - even in the hard parts.

Ambition and motivation come easy to me. Being present, right here, with what’s in front of me is not always an easy feat. It’s something I need to be intentional about and focus on.

But right here. In the every day. Staying present and taking in the little moments - these are what I’ve prayed for. These are everything. They are where the memories are made and the impact happens.

So while you’re chasing those dreams, making those goals and hitting those benchmarks - don’t forget to be present, celebrate where you are, how far you’ve come and practice gratitude for all you have right here, in this moment.

👉We’re supposed to be caretakers of our children, giving them everything, including our career.

👉We’re supposed to be true to ourselves, our kids will survive being raised by other caretakers - we should keep climbing that corporate ladder and not let our dreams of having a family slow us down 🥴

❌But what if we choose a different narrative? One where we share our ambition and our dreams with building a family. Where we integrate the two because both matter, both our dreams and our desire to build a family, our ambition and desire to be present with our kids.

Both matter.

Both can be achieved.
